Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Newton Private School website (newtonprivateschool.site), the school management system, and the mobile applications for guardians and teachers (together, the "Services"). By using any of the Services, you agree to these terms.

1.Who can use the Services

The public website is open to anyone. The school management system is restricted to authorized school staff. The mobile applications are for guardians of currently enrolled students and current teaching/administrative staff, whose accounts are issued directly by the school — nobody registers an account on their own.

2.Accounts and activation codes

A guardian or teacher account is created after school staff issue you an activation code. You are responsible for keeping your code and password confidential, for the information you provide being accurate, and for telling us promptly if a device is lost, stolen, or replaced so we can revoke that device's access. Each account is for one person's own use.

3.Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Provide false information on the admission-inquiry form or in your account.
• Attempt to access another family's or student's records.
• Abuse, overload, or attempt to misuse the AI assistant or any other part of the Services.
• Attempt to bypass security controls or access data you are not authorized to see.
• Copy, republish, or redistribute the school's content without written permission.

4.Limits of the AI assistant

The chat assistant on our homepage answers from a fixed set of published facts about the school, for general guidance only. It is not authoritative for admission decisions, fees, or any official matter — those must be confirmed directly, in writing or in person, with school staff. It may be unavailable or occasionally inaccurate; use it at your own judgment.

5.Fees and payments

Tuition and fees are governed by the enrollment agreement directly between the guardian and the school. A receipt is issued for every completed payment and is the authoritative proof of payment. Discounts, refunds, and reversed ("voided") payments follow the school's internal approval process. Balances shown in the mobile app or management system are provided for your convenience — the finance office's own records control in case of any discrepancy. The public website does not process online card payments; all payments are arranged directly with the school.

6.Intellectual property

"Newton Private School", our crest and logo, the design and content of this website, and our curriculum and teaching materials belong to the school (or are used under license) and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

7.Health and safety information

Where a student's medical or health profile is recorded in our systems, it is used only for that student's welfare and safety, and access to it is restricted to authorized staff.

8.Availability and changes to the Services

The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, suspend for maintenance, or discontinue any part of them at any time. We are not liable for temporary unavailability.

9.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that provides false information, misuses the Services, or belongs to a family or staff member whose relationship with the school has ended. A guardian may ask us to close their own account at any time.

10.Liability

We provide these educational services in good faith. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, and the accuracy of some information (such as contact details you provide) depends on what families themselves submit.

11.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, and any dispute is subject to the competent courts of Kirkuk.

12.Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify guardians through the mobile app or by another reasonable means.
